Ritva Lehtonen, Chairman of the Board
I have been in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 25 years in various roles, in Finland and in Nordic countries. As a result of an extensive experience, I have a diversified network within the health care sector. It is inspirational to participate to this very experienced group to lead and develop Fimvo's operations according to the set strategy.
Currently I am the Managing Director in Sanofi Oy and heading Finland's Vaccines business. My education background is M.Sc.(Pharm) and eMB.
Sanna Raappana
I am a board member of Suppliers of Parallel Imported Medicines in Finland and I represent them on the Fimvo board.
I am currently the Managing Director of Orifarm Oy and Orifarm Healthcare Oy, but I have also worked in quality as a responsible pharmacist for 17 years. I have been working in the pharma sector for total of 33 years in both Finland and abroad.
I have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy and I'm also commercial school graduate.
Heikki Bothas
I graduated as a Master of Social Sciences (Social Politics) and have served as The Finnish Generic Pharmaceutical Association's Executive Director since 2008. Our association represents generic and biosimilar companies operating in Finland. Our member companies also supply a significant portion of the nutritional and hydrotherapy products used in healthcare.
Inka Puumalainen
Pharmaceutical Director, Pharmacist, Doctor of Science (Pharmacy)
I am the pharmaceutical director for the Association of Finnish Pharmacies. I am responsible for the development and support of the professional activities of pharmacies. In Fimvo I represent Finnish private pharmacies, i.e. the end-users of the medicines verification system.
Petter Sandström
I serve as the General Counsel of Oriola Corporation, being responsible for the legal affairs, risk management and compliance function of the Oriola group. I have worked at Oriola for over 15 years before which I was an attorney.
On the Fimvo board I represent the pharmaceutical wholesalers, focusing on bringing a comprehensive view of the distribution chain to the board work.
Sampsa Kavander
Currently I work as a Head of Operations of Orion’s Operations in Salo, where Orion's tablet packaging and logistics operations are centralized. I am also Process owner in the Orion’s serialization process.
I have worked at Orion for 10 years in various project management activities in the supply chain area. I represent the vision of the manufacturing pharmaceutical industry and knowledge of the serialization from the industry’s point of view in the entire supply chain.
